We travelled to Alresford Golf Club for our match against the association of Hampshire Lady Captains and were once again lucky to complete the games with very little rain. The club was extremely busy when we arrived consequently a number of us had to use the overflow car-park which was dangerously close to the driving range. Fortunately, no cars suffered any damage from a wayward ball!

The course was in excellent condition, although as it was being prepared for their impending club championships the rough and all the second cuts were somewhat punitive and many of the greens very tricky.

Despite this the overall result was an excellent 4 all draw – always nice for a friendly match!

The match was followed by a two course carvery meal which was enjoyed by everyone.

Thank you to everyone who played.
